IMMF Summary Report . 2012 to 2015
Infinite Myanma Metta Foundation (IMMF) was established in 2012 as a local charity foundation organized by alumni of University of Medicine, Mandalay (1983 batch). The goal of the IMMF is to promote the health, education and social status of the people in Myanmar. Members contribute in turn of financial, kind and skill to the foundation. Each member have to contribute 5000 Kyats per month. But many members are contributing more than the foundation has set.
In order to fulfill the goal of the foundation, mobile clinic is the main strategy. IMMF’s Yangon, Mandalay and Magwe branches are organizing these mobile clinic because these places have most of the human resource. Since 2012, IMMF had run the mobile clinic in 32 places for 39 times. Total patient were recorded as 19161 in number. All the places were in villages where the people were poor and difficult to access the health facilities.
Many patients are also transfer to Yangon or Mandalay General Hospital for further management and treatment. So many Surgery cases, Inguinal hernia, Branchial cyst, Lipoma, Papilloma, Goiter, Ca oesophagus, Ca Breast, Cataracts,and Gynaecological cases ,etc. were operated by our colleague surgeons. These surgeons contributed their skill and the foundation assisted some financial matters.
Though General Hospital of Mandalay and Yangon, IMMF is also taking care of renal patients .Over 70 patient were in term of financial for renal dialysis. Moreover IMMF had donated a Pre-operation Lung Function Assessment Machine and Vacuum suction machines to Chest surgical units, Yangon General Hospital and Oxygen tanks to Mandalay General Hospital .

As a second strategy, to assist the education of the people, IMMF is assisting students who are facing difficulties in their study. IMMF is supporting financially to (6 )medical students. IMMF would expand the scope of assistant to other students depend of the availability of the donations.
Assisting social problems is the third strategy of IMMF. IMMF had delivered donations to disaster regions in the country. IMMF had donated 500,000 Kyat each to civil war refugees to Kachin State, flood affected people in Kawlin and Bago ,Bawloon village Naung Tone township and landslide in Hpa-saung, Kayah State and 4,000,000 Kyat and Medicine to Kanan village Kalay Region ,etc.
Many donor were also helping the country by contributing donations. Farmer Phoyar association had contributed 5 million kyats in mobile clinics. Myanmar Australia Conolly Foundation for Health had also funded IMMF for publishing “Where there is no doctors” into Myanmar language. Member of IMMF had translated the book and preparing to publish in 2016.
In the future, IMMF would continue establishing her activities. More new area will be explored and advocating for funding. IMMF would like to thanks all the members and donors who are contributing with their utmost generosity.
